Student Union holds candidate question time


On February 23 the London South Bank Student Union organised Candidate Question Time, focusing on the student union’s next leaders. Nancy Adusei and Rafaela Kuznec report

Voting takes place from February 29 to and March 4. All students who are members of the Student Union are entitled to vote in this election by logging in to the Student’s Union website LSBSU.ORG/VOTE. To meet the candidates competing check out the 2016 Election.

The event streamed live at LSBSU.ORG/ELECTIONSLIVE. The audience had a chance to meet and question candidates, Twitter followers were also able to tweet in questions.

The Students’ Union represents and supports students, enabling them to get the best out of their time at the university. According to the Student Union, over 20 students are elected every year to run, change and shape the Student Union from a number of positions, including Full-time Officers, Part-Time Officers, Student Trustees, Student Forum Chairs, and as delegates to the National Union of Students’ Conference.
