JLDN are back for their first show of 2017 and is jam packed with a great lineup of topics from; The anti-trump march through central London, Oscar contenders, Chinese New Year and the artistic graffiti tunnel
- London says No to Trump: An estimated 10,000 people joined the march on Downing Street in protest of Donald Trump’s indefinite ban on Syrian refugees. Our reporters Jihan, Rhea and Sumaira were included in the 10,000 that attended the protest.
- Who should win the best picture?: Film student Teddie Oates joins JLDN presenters Ashley Ghmmerson and Georgie Waight on the coach to discuss the Oscars and their favourite films.
- Happy Chinese New Year: It’s Chinese New Year (also known as the Spring Festival) and this year is the year of the rooster. Our reporters Jihan and Sumaria went to China town to join the celebration and to learn a few interesting facts about the celebration as well.
- Graffiti Wonderland: The graffiti tunnel is a channel of colourful art work by artists across the globe. Set up by world famous Banksy in 2008, the tunnel is located right behind Waterloo station, Hannah Turner reports.
