Valentines special: a day on the Southbank


With valentine’s day just around the corner, our JDLN reporter Natasha Ferguson took us on a walk on the Southbank to plan the perfect last minute day date

For most women, Valentine’s Day is a very important occasion so whatever you have planned for February 14th this year or if you haven’t already planned anything yet, then take a sneak peak at some suggested places located on the Southbank to make her day extra special.

  1. Start your morning at The Breakfast Club in London Bridge, with a selection from their all day breakfast and brunch menu.
  2. Take a walk along the river to the Globe Theatre, where “The White Devil“, a tale of deceit and madness, where lust and desire entwine and breed murderous atrocity is have tickets available for a Valentines screening.
  3. After the theatre The Tate Modern is a stone throws away
  4. And to finish off your date, you could enjoy a spectacular view of London from the London Eye with also choices of different packages to get the best from this day.
