The group are due to kick of their tour in Manchester before travelling across the UK and are set to finish their tour at Wembley stadium in London. Announcing their tour in a news bulletin style video, the group will also be joined by like likes of Jess Glynn, with stadiums expected to sell out within minutes of ticket release.
Only four of the five original band members will be returning however, with Victoria Beckham, also known as posh spice during her time with the band, choosing not to join the band on tour. The decision was made due to commitments to her multi-million-pound fashion label.
The group also openly announced that Victoria was not officially invited by the band, going off assumptions that she would decline the offer. Following this Mel B, sported a controversial outfit for Halloween, dressing as her former bandmate Victoria, holding a sign saying “No I am not going on tour”, joined by a friend dressed as David Beckham who also held a sign saying “Please, please, please do it for the Spice Girls fans.
Reacting to the Halloween outfits, Victoria Beckham said she appreciated the humour behind the outfit but also noted the complicated love-hate relationship between herself and ex band mate Mel B.
In the days coming up to the tour, thousands of Spice Girls fans will be hoping to get hold of tickets to see the iconic group on what may be their last ever tour.
