Are the Democrats setting themselves up for 2020 disappointment?

Impeachment inquiries into Donald Trump and his alleged “pressure” on Ukraine’s leader, Volodymyr Zelensky to look into political opponent Joe Biden as well as corruption within the country may have hit a snag.

The inquiry is further looking into whether President Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine as a precondition. Which he strongly denies.

So far the public hearings have not been as “explosive” and “damning” as Democrats and the mainstream media are suggesting. But merely he say she say.

Not one person who has testified in front of the committee have first hand evidence of the President committing any wrong doing. It simply seems like a game of Chinese whispers.

Yesterday it was Ambassador Gordon Sondland who would  testify under oath. And again he consistently used words such as ” presumed” meaning he has taken what he thinks is the situation and not what has 100% completely happened.

The transcript of a call between Trump and Snodland also was made public.

“What do you want from Ukraine?” asked Snodland.

“I want nothing.” Trump continued, “I want no quid pro quo, tell Zelensky to do the right thing.”

Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff later claimed that Snodland’s testimony was enough evidence to continue with the impeachment enquiry.

But with no evidence of the alleged “pressure” and both Trump and Zelensky saying there was nothing as such. Are the Democrats clutching desperately at straws?

The 2020 election is fast approaching, are they looking for a way to get rid of him because they know they cant beat him?

If the Democrats fail to bring down President Trump, it could possibly change the publics opinion about the president leading into the November 2020 election.

Beat him at the ballot box.
