A London hospital is collaborating with three other specialist centres to treat the UK’s Corona Virus patients.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ is it is one of several HCID (high consequence infectious disease) centres across the country and is on standby to accept patients.

Two people have been confirmed to have the virus in the UK.  Unconfirmed reports say they are Chinese tourists and have been visiting York.

Meanwhile, a plane evacuating 83 Britons who were trapped in Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the coronavirus outbreak, has landed in the UK.

Medics were also on the flight, which arrived at RAF Brize Norton earlier today.

The UK passengers are being taken on coaches to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and will be quarantined for two weeks.
