Spice Girls reunion tour

The Spice Girls announced their reunion tour on Monday afternoon, amid speculation that they were to reunite without band member Victoria Beckham.

The girl-group are set to reunite for their first tour in 10 years – this time without Victoria Beckham. Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Horner (née Halliwell) and Emma Bunton will take part, embarking on a UK tour in June 2019, travelling to stadiums including Manchester’s Etihad and London’s Wembley.

The groups announcement came with a specially filmed group message featuring the four women discussing the reunion before breaking into song.

Mel B confirmed on ITV’s Loose Women that fans will get the chance to snap up tickets on Saturday to see the girl-band perform live next year. She told the panel “We’ve known for like five, six months now, it’s all, the wheels are in motion, tickets go on sale on Friday. Pressure is on now, hopefully you’re going to buy some tickets.”

Victoria Beckham has opted not to join the tour and instead focus on her fashion business but Mel B is still hopeful she’ll make an appearance on the tour at some point, adding “It’s just the four of us, but she might join us at some point. I hope so. I think it would be a shame if she didn’t.”

Spice Girls super-fan and Guinness World Record holder for the largest Spice Girls collection said “I have real anxiety about whether I will be lucky enough to get Spice Girls tickets after being a super fan for decades! I wish there was a sure fire way of getting them for us hardcore nutters. I would sell my Geri Halliwell dress for a chance to see them live.”
