F1 fans looking for merchandise may want to check out Drive Crate

See what Drive Crate offers and whether it’s worth buying in time for the Saudi Arabian GP this Sunday

Are you a F1 fan who’s been looking for some affordable merchandise? Check out Drive Crate, a monthly subscription service sent right to your door. Open the box every month to see what theme has been chosen and what’s inside. With the Saudi Arabian GP this weekend, you can order last month and next month’s box online. As the 20 drivers race around the tight street circuit at night in Jeddah with its 27 corners and 3 DRS zones for 50 laps at an average of 250 km/h, immerse yourself in the fan experience with this service.

December’s Drive Crate Box. It includes a Ferrari thermal flask, Red Bull Racing print, podium pin, picture quiz card game and Italian cream biscuits

After the Red Bull 1-2 in Bahrain and Fernando Alonso’s podium for Aston Martin, you could receive official merchandise in time for race day. You could also receive products related to a country, track or anything F1 related. Each box contains a treat you can eat whilst watching the race at 5:00 PM this Sunday, the 19th of March on Sky Sports F1 or Channel 4

January’s Drive Crate Box. It includes a Mercedes cap, Autocourse 2023 calendar, luggage tag, Bahrain magnet and Bonbonetti candy snack

Fans can subscribe to Drive Crate for £34.99 a month for as long as they wish to. The value in each box is £45+ and it will always include 5+ hand-picked items. This is a bargain as the Mercedes cap, for example, costs between £25-£28, so then adding on the four other items you get your money’s worth. Receiving official merchandise along with fan made items personalises the box to suit your average F1 fan. Items that I’ve gotten so far include two different caps, two pairs of socks, two pins, a flask, a mug, a calendar, a magnet and a luggage tag. The variety is endless with a mixture of fan made items and those from F1 or any of the 10 teams on the grid.

February’s Drive Crate Box. It includes a McLaren mug, Pierre Gasly print, tire bottle opener, pair of socks, Hershey’s strawberries and cream chocolate bar and Hungarian chocolate covered pretzels

I personally really enjoy this subscription service so far. I didn’t want to buy official merchandise as it was often quite expensive. Then I found Drive Crate and I like the surprise that comes with opening a different themed box every month. The snacks can be a hit or miss depending on your personal preferences, but it is fun trying out snacks from all over the world. I also don’t wear the caps as my head is too small for the one size fits all they send. Other than that I’ve enjoyed a majority of the items they have chosen and always look forward to the delivery.

November’s Drive Crate Box. It includes a Yas Marina circuit sign, Penha fruit caramels, F1 cap, pair of socks and steering wheel pin

Drive Crate claims they are “the only subscription box for Formula 1 fans available worldwide” who are “a young company, run by motorsport fans, for motorsport fans” on their website. They also have multiple positive reviews left by subscribers saying “the value for money seems great, and the contents were amazing” by Sondre and “always arrives on time and never disappoints” by Alexander. The theme of next month’s box is Australia which is on the 2nd of April, so make sure to order soon if you’re interested.
